Electrician General

The Electrician General program at Ajmera ITI Jaipur trains students to install, maintain, and repair electrical machinery, equipment, and fittings across various settings such as factories, workshops, power houses, business premises, and residential areas. Students will learn to study technical drawings and specifications to determine electrical circuits and installation details.

They will gain hands-on experience positioning and installing electrical motors, transformers, switch-gears, switchboards, and other equipment.

Key skills include making electrical connections, soldering terminals, and testing installations with tools like megger and test lamps.

Trainees will also learn to repair or replace defective wiring, fuses, and parts, ensuring that all fittings and fixtures remain in working order. Additional training includes armature winding, drawing wires and cables, simple cable jointing, and maintaining electrical motors and pumps.
